So it seems that even Japan has it’s share of trolls. After Japan’s 7.5 earthquake, Twitter user @Reonandnene posted that she was under the rubble of her collapsed house
and couldn’t get out. Furthermore, she begged everyone to “Please retweet this.”
After Japan’s previous earthquake worries, you can imagine how viral this tweet became and how quickly people jumped into action, with local news outlets tweeting her back trying to get her location and condition.
It was a prank, however, and after some time the user came clean, tweeting: “It’s a lie lulz You’re all so stupid.”
I’ll tell you who else was stupid, @Reonandnene… The boy who cried wolf. Karma is a bitch.

just like to tell you, that this tweet was probably not “hers” but “his”. People found out and are now quite assured that this was tweeted by a 2nd grade high school student in Osaka. He is claiming that his twitter account was taken over by somebody and the prank tweet was not his.
Finally, my first non-spam comment! Thank you for commenting and for the update. I feel like I should send you a prize or something
