Nintendo Introduces Wii U To Japanese Market

Nintendo launched it’s Wii U in Japan over the weekend.  Looks like it’s going to be as popular there as it was here in the U.S. and in Europe when it launched back in

November.  It seems that the company is attempting to provide a new gaming experience with it’s touch screen equipped GamePad.

Personally, I don’t get it, and by that I mean I truly don’t understand the mechanics of the thing.  Maybe I should just try the Wii U’s controller before making any judgement calls on it, but I’m sure as hell not going to spend that kind of money on it.  Not $350 bucks anyway.  I think I’ll just wait for GameStop to start selling refurbished ones.
