Times are tough in Japan right now. They’ve announced that there will be rolling blackouts starting, and it seems that they are worried that there is no way to cool down the nuclear power plants. It sounds like they’re expecting a meltdown.
It also turns out that the quake has been upgraded to 9. I’m probably wrong, but I think that’s the highest a quakes designation can go.
Here are some before and after pictures of Japan related to the quake.
It’s not looking good, but one thing we should remember is that this is the country that bounced back and became a world economic power after having two nuclear bombs dropped on it. Japan will make it out of this disaster. No doubt about it.
Don’t forget to send those good thoughts to Japan using your wireless phone.
